organic social is the one first marketing activity to do when launching a brand. make native iphone content that’s relevant to the category 👉 attract ICP 👉 get content distribution (views, engagement) going literally nothing else to do first. even branding. slap some $200 fiver branding on your ig and tiktok and post content while developing the real brand identity. imagine launching a product but you already have tens of thousands of followers and hundreds of thousands of views that aren’t getting the meta cpm tax and what does this do for your creator marketing strategy? creators are more likely to work with a pre launch brand w 30k followers and great distribution. and what does this do for your meta ads strategy? meta targets based on web traffic signal. organic web traffic seasons your pixel faster. this effect is the real sauce of organic social… organic social creates the best flywheel. “but i don’t know what to make” well don’t launch a product in a market you don’t know how to speak to “but i dont know how to make content im not creator” hire one! heck, hire 5! pay them $ per video. any brand can run fb ads or pay influencers… huge arb opportunity in organic social distribution and what it sets in motion.
HexClad is hiring a creative strategist to own paid social ads strategy across EU markets — with a real focus on Germany. Know someone in Germany who lives and breathes performance creative? Please send them my way!
I don’t think we talk enough about how culture has shifted since COVID and how that affects how people need to be marketed to.
Very few people outside of Simple Modern and Simple Ventures have impacted our business more than @andrewjfaris. Required listening. Grateful for him. This episode is a gift to our industry and community.
Are there ANY saas companies who run a really strong performance marketing machine? Thinking multi-channel ads here. Who does this really well?
Asking my wife how it went putting our daughter to sleep: https://t.co/VY3Oz81i2k
A lot of people saying 1-2 hours. My goal is 24 hours. Aka live the next day. That still is fast. If you can actually do it in 1-2 hours and it’s not slop show me. I’ll pay $1k to anyone who shows me proof.
Highly reccomend tuning in to hear what @andrewjfaris said to give me this reaction https://t.co/dwPH11va6f
Reposting anything Jacob does because I really like him and think he’s a good guy and good for our space. I haven’t tried this yet but I’m excited to.
Two part question: If you have an idea for a funnel (ad creative batch + lander), how long does it take you to get that live now and how long should it take you?
Elon is the best hater ever. During his trial with Open AI he announces a partnership with their competitor who is cooking them that happens to be former Open AI. There are levels to this.
Only 1 meeting today which is rare. It’s a great day to pop an Ultra, chug an iced coffee, play the same song on repeat for 4 hours, and see what Claude can do. The neurodivergence is strong today.
I want to live a high agency life. This is why I am an entreprenuer: I get to choose WHAT I work on I get to choose WHO I work with I have been very fortunate to build some successfull businesses. The biggest reward is I get to choose what I do with my time.
What in the world in AI UGC? Do people not realize those are diametrically opposed things? I’m old enough to remember when UGC was content that was submitted by real customers. It worked because it was raw, authentic, and unpolished. It was real. AI is the exact opposite of that. If you’re trying to AI UGC, you’ve completely lost the plot. I’m the biggest AI bull there is, but this is bad. AI does have a place in creative, but making UGC is not it.
If you still think AI sucks at design check this out. You need a really detailed design system but amazing on brand designs are possible in Claude. Very proud of this. I’ll send my design system if people want to see it to model theirs. https://t.co/uZxvgVWzhm
I'm 3/3 on CRO tests that I've done end to end in Claude. I hate to sound like AI, but it's not just the speed of dev I'm excited about. It's the direction. For the first time one person can run a really good CRO program. Sure being able to ship design and dev as a non creative, non-technical person is cool. But what's arguably more valuable is the strategy. A lot of CRO programs are just guessing. I've got a CRO skill trained on every test we've ever ran, our heatmap data, every customer and user survey we've ever ran, all of our reviews and outersignal persona data, our ga4 data, and everything i know about CRO and more. Normally it would take a team of a few people tp just do all of this analysis and plan tests. I'm able to do it nearly instantly. I've hired someone to take this over. But this is exciting.
really fun episode. cadence is one of my favorite brands to follow right now 🚀 a great reminder that even crowded categories have white space..
The pure manager is going away "You lead through the work" When you run a business, the reason for this is obvious. Great leaders are teachers. When you do the work you have fresh insights and context that can be used to teach others. When you are disconnected from the work you can only offer platitudes or outdated tactics.
Vigorously nods head
anyone else running mother’s day sales seeing performance uptick in may compared to april? on YoYs getting much stronger
What he said. I see too many founders optimizing towards top line growth "SCALE BRO!!" instead of maximizing free cash into their pockets. Over the last 8 years I've made almost as much money from my investments compounding than I did from my first 2 exits.
Expect more and more of this. Always a bummer when peoples roles are affected. But this is going to become the new norm, not the exception.

If the average person can use AI to get their work done in half the time. Do they use the rest to do more work? Or Do they just take more time for other things? Outside of entrepreneurs, I think most people choose to take the free time.
Who wants to do a Jewish Ecom mastermind? We can talk about places to save money
Them: Claude code is so technical. You must be really technical and smart to be good at it. Me: “Slider not working” https://t.co/d5BPBzlcVg
Born too autistic to be social. Born not autistic enough to be a developer. Born just autistic enough to be good at Claude Code.
Killer list of books from Mehtab Even got one I haven’t read yet!
stop cold pitching high-profile influencers and creators...try this work flow instead 1. use @outersignal to get notified when influential people buy from you 2. reach out, tell them you're excited for them to try it 3. offer free product in exchange for a post we've driven 6 figures in impressions from this workflow alone — and we're just getting started. and the best part is that the content feels super organic, because it is! these are influences and creators already bought organically, so we're just pouring gas on the fire... excited to see how this scales.
So fun to hang with Craig and Ben and talk AI + Consumer.
Love working with Polar. Our entire team has access to our data warehouse in claude thanks to them.
Product is my new favorite topic. Give this a listen!
This episode should be required listening for one reason. Product is every brand’s alpha. Not marketing. Not distribution. Not sales. Those are necessary but not sufficient. Great brands require remarkable product. Meaning, it has to be the best in at least one way. This is core because being the best in at least one way makes it lovable and easy for people to explain. There are tons of ways your product can be positioned as the best: - Best value - Most affordable - Best tasting - Least wasteful - Most durable - Longest lasting - Best for your health - Fastest results - Best looking - Widest selection What is your product’s best? Is it obvious to customers? Can they describe that one thing? Once you solve for this messaging, it will level up your marketing, expand distribution through word of mouth, and unlock positive unit economics (sales). Word of mouth leads to free customer acquisition. Referrals are also the most valuable customers. A customer who buys something based on another person’s recommendation will be more brand loyal than one who was converted through marketing. This is why Katy and Curtis are winning. It is the thesis behind all of the brands we are launching through Simple Ventures. The first and most critical step: Product so good that people voluntarily tell others about it. Then, do it again.
Ted Lasso new season coming. Just jack it into my veins.
Anyone in DTC using Omnisend over Klaviyo?
Always remember this truth: Your circumstances may change, but human nature doesn't https://t.co/xoopniT5hi
Who has gone deep on static ad generation with AI? Shifting my sights to it and willing to pay $$ to someone who has to save me time. I'm building a Claude skill/workflow that builds JSON prompts that pings Open at/ Gemini API that way it can use all of our Claude infrastructure and data. Just want to chat with someone who is a master at gen image prompting.
Claude Design is magic. But token heavy. You can't really do much and it sucks that this isn't part of Claude Max plans.
This feels like serious alpha for everyone expanding categories...
